Taubensee

Easy hike of about 28 km along the Taubensee and the Soleleitungsweg.
Halsalm | Almbachklamm | Salzwand | Kühroint | Moosenalm | Rinnkendlsteig | Taubensee | Salzburg

After yesterdays hike selecting this easy walk was a simple decision. the path was almost flat and meandered along the Taubensee lake and the side of the Vogelspitz and Schmuckenstein mountains with beautiful views of the Hochkalter mountain and Blaueis glacier.
On this sunny day we encountered many other people hiking the same trail, including a couple in a wheelchair and a lady on crutches.
In the picture on the right, one can see the Watzmann mountain with the Grünstein in front of it. We are standing in front of our inn, the Hotel Bavaria.
