Fall Hikes in the Berchtesgadener Alps

On a rainy day, Susan and I visited the fortress in the Austrian city of Salzburg.

	The fortress of Salzburg overlooks the city and has been a stronghold for centuries. Originally much smaller, each succesive owner added his touch to the structure, resulting in the imposing buildings we can visit today.


Susan and I had our picture taken on top of one of the lookout towers, the Berchtesgadener Alps are barely visible in the distance behind us.
