| We woke up to sunshine and about 2 feet of fresh snow. We started at the church in Ramsau and the trail through the ravine had not been cleared yet. We were thankful for having sturdy hiking boots as we climbed up about 1500 feet to the first guesthouse for a hot cup of chocolate and a 'Dampfnudel". The sweet, doughy dumpling covered with vanillasauce was absolutely delicious! | ||||
